For years school groups have been making skiing at Willamette Pass part of their winter experience. Many local schools have even included several weeks of ski classes into their winter schedule. Again this year, we hope that teachers, parents, and of course kids in grades 3rd-5th will consider our Class in the Cascades program. Based on our years of experience we have organized a program that will bring skiing into the classroom and bring your classroom to the slopes. We have designated Thursdays and Fridays for elementary school classes to enjoy a day of lessons and fun, with special sessions on ski area ecology, outdoor winter safety, and forest service information at your request. We can assist teachers with information to include in your classroom studies before you visit us, educators from our staff and the U.S. Forest Service who will make it a special day.
